Anybody doing or fancy doing a Cadwell Park track day this year? I am looking for something June time to fill a gap in my Summer programme (that sounds really posh but in truth I only have the National (I hope) and Le Mans sorted for this year).

Well I've got the 11 days off for the price of 3 days leave in April thanks to the Bank Holidays, so have just booked in with Javelin for the 27th April. rallly

Fishmarket (restaurant) was very good and liked Gul beer too

I'm easy. I did four days there last year and did there and back on the day, each time. Apart from the final day of the year when it absolutely hammered down and I was crawling along, it always took under 2 hours. But, I'm half an hour closer than you.

The usual hotel that seems to get recommended by the two TDO's I've used, is the Admiral Rodney in Horncastle for decent prices.

Dependant on date you can count me in. Cadwell's a fantastic track and separates the men from the boy :tt:

Last time I was there (on a winter's day) was in an elise there were two notable incidents. An exige owner who knew the place like the back of his hand and quite happy to still motor it round, back end out, within one corner after going off onto the grass. Some high confidence levels there and seemingly the credentials to back it up (gathering it up from the grass for starters). Second incident was a VX going off in the afternoon, I overheard talk of clam damage, effectively written off, etc. Obviously as a superior Lotus owner I just spat on the vauxhall-owning-peasant and carried on

...btw. I know that some of you don't have a humour gland so I'd just like to point out that the above reference was a joke. I did stop to p*ss on the wreck to help put out the fire.

I'd just like to add that wasn't me. I was more like the Exige driver and gathered it with at least one of the wheels on the grass (though I'm not sure how). Suffice to say, I was 10 seconds a lap slower after that. :wacko:

Just realised that the Mrs is away so I'm 99% likely, I'll sort it by Monday. I've not done Cadwell before. How many Pampers will I need (or just one very big one)? :blink:
