Is there anyone here who has a Quiafe ATB differential fitted in their car that I/you can test test drive to see if mine is working in the same way/correctly please? The objective is to see if you/I think the characteristic between the rear wheel drive handling is the same on my car as yours. I live in Bristol, but am willing to travel a fair bit... Thanks in advance. Nev.

I'm sure it's the quaife that Nicol has just had fitted.

Nev sounded ok from our chat the other night but as you can imagine either you need to drive another or someone who has one drive yours but of course your car is also not really ready for working the diff fully, since zac had the other box fitted with the same diff it feels VERY good and can tell its there when worked. Can be a bit hard to explain but in my pea brain it all makes sense lol Hope its ok ;) DG

Sticky has recently fitted one as well. Sounded like he wasn't too keen on it's effect to start with but once driving more aggressively it came into it's own.

Given its an ATB (sack O shite imho but hey), it should be barely noticeable day to day, but then start trying to kill you once you drive like a man.

I have one, but it is fitted on a 6 speed gearbox M32. Up to now, as I am in running-in, I don't find any difference with my old configuration ... :)

Indeed I have. Really happy with it now, particularly on track. Not much different on normal roads but then I have way way way less BHP than Nev.

Welcome to a drive.

Hi Nev, if after Sticky's you still need to know how it works with a higher powered engine, my SC300 should be mapped & ready for fun in about a month, welcome to have a go in Shropshire, somehere in between with big roundabouts, or at a trackday.

Courtenay are building it at present after a little cat problem with previous 250bhp version.

If yours is the Plans-spec ramp angles etc should be same as mine? unobtrusive in normal driving, once at cornering speed limit will slide tail out very proportionately to right foot AND come back, and totally useless if lose ALL traction to one wheel eg. standard tyres in snow. Work colleagues were highly amused that I couldn't get out of a flat car park in 2" of snow
