Finally got round to making a start on my latest project. As you can see, it was looking very sorry for itself!!! After removing the front clam it doesn't look as daunting. Waiting for the new crash box and drivers sill to arrive. Already managed to get a new rear clam for a decent price - couple of weeks should see it nearly completed.

Couple on the go at once!!
Good luck, they do look massively daunting with the clams all smashed up.

The black one isn't mine - front end damage for a guy at work.

Finally had some progress on the project. New crash box is fitted - radiator fitted loosely to make sure fit is OK, need to take it off again to fit new brake pipes. Old sill cut off, new one fitted roughly - needed a LOT of cutting/modifying to make the fit good. Need to remove and paint it, then fit it properly. Getting there slowly!!!!

The wheels are team dynamics - 16 inch on the front and 17's on the rear. One needs a repair, but the other three are mint. Whoever had it before also got the brakes upgraded as it has the larger AP discs fitted with the seperate bells.
Thanks for the comments - encouragement always welcome.
Been busy repairing the black one that you can see in the background - hopefully that one will be finished in a couple of weeks and I can get on with my own one!!!

Progress at last! A very close family bereavement has meant no progress on the VX - basically down to lack of motivation and interest! Anyway, decided to spend a few hours on it today. New sill fitted, damaged exhaust replaced and rear clam swapped. Will post some more photos when rear clam is fitted 100% and all gaps are correct.

I think this was owned by 'Herman Toothrot' as his was identical to this inc the wheels and brakes and was involved in a bumped a while back.
