Help guys, Keep getting this error and going into Limp mode, at least once every 15 miles or so :rolleyes: Done a search but my search skills suck so, should I be checking the connections by the pedal or the black and blue connectors by the roll bar hoop support at the back first. Cheers Deano

When the error kicks in do you lose the throttle pedal completely and when you stop and restart the car does it come back?

chinky chinky mike

Yes total loss of throttle, then it is gone until I reset the error code via Op-COM, could not be bother to pull fuse 8 and wait half an hour ;)

No, its got to the stage now that even when I start the car I have to reset the code.

The full code list is;

P1221 Not present ( 0 ) Throttle Position Sensor 1-2 Circuit Performance
P1275 Not present ( 0 ) Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor 1 Circuit
P1271 Present ( 0 ) Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor 1-2 Correlation
P1635 Present ( 0 ) 5V Reference #1 Circuit

My only suggestion is to pull the two connectors behind the expansion tank and clean them up with contact cleaner and re-assemble, sorted my problem out but then I was only getting the one code when mine failed.

With those errors its suggests a wiring fault. My guess would be blue plug. Check 1) they are clean, 2) the terminals are tight as they get opened up, 3)that you push the plug home fully on reassembly. It can be tight. Fingers crossed!
