Hi all
time for a car change again (in the last year I have had an MX-5 Turbo, TVR Chimaera, VX220 and now the Z3M!!!)
I'll not put lots of stuff here about it as I'm conscious this is a VX forum, so I'll simply add the link to my PistonHeads advert....

thanks guys,

thanks Chris.
Compared to the VX there are pros and cons.
Steering not as good as the VX, with less feedback - but thats not surprising
Doesn't sound as throaty as the VX (but my VX had induction and precat removed)
Wayyyyyy more comfortable than the VX. Great seats (heated), no rattles, waterproof etc etc. A much much nicer place to be for 99% of driving.
Love the power of the Z3M. Doesn't feel as gutsy as the VX up to about 2200 revs, but then it flies. Super easy to go sideways in a very contollable fashion, which I missed in the VX. There is a lot of power available and you do have to take great care in the wet, but it is a great car thats well put together.
Do I prefer it to the VX? I'd say "yes" 9 out of 10 times, but there is always the special day and the special road that makes me hanker for the VX - but I couldn't have one as my only car again...

Looks lovely but seems a bit cheap? I tried one a couple of months ago with 60k which was up for 11k and sold pretty quickly...

agreed, it does seem cheap but thats what I paid for it about four months ago. I've then spent a few hundred on bits and bobs and feel its a fair price.
I'm not out to try and make a profit on it, just to let somebody else enjoy it - if they decide to then sell it on for profit then thats up to them - it doesn't sit right with me to do that (I would be a crap salesman!!)
Maybe the price makes people think its got something wrong with it? (which it definitely doesn't)
cheers
Michael
