yes, when installing a chargecooler and the extra radiator underneath the engine rad, most install an extra SPAL fan. or for free, during summer, unplug silver hose on heating duct and vent to outside not cabin.

That's a normal in-slow-traffic temperature for the car and is nothing to worry about. If you want, you can fit a Scangauge to the OBDII port and switch the fan on and off, on demand. Alternatively rev the engine a bit to get the coolant circulating quicker.

You don't need an extra fan, the ECU doesn't even turn the fans on till 106 deg so adding an extra fan won't help. What you need is temp switch to switch the fans on early, Courtenays do one which switches the fans on at 96 deg.

Or have a search on here to fit an overuse switch in the dash so you can turn the fan on in traffic Very easy to do and works fine did mine a couple of months ago

I think the overide switch is the best/cheepest way and avoids removing the clam. I have the switch in the engine and rarely use it but is peace of mind if ever stuck in traffic knowing I can switch it on.

Simple case of grounding a connection to a relay by using a switch. Wired in such a way as the ground can be provided by either the switch or the ECU.

Scanguage can be used (and a shortcut key programmed) but only if you have an NA.
