On one hand - that looks quite nice, on the other hand - it fits in with the recent electric windows / heated seats / whatever next discussion....the VX wasn't designed to be soft and luxurious. ;)

It wasn't designed to be modified in any way pal....

If that's what he wants, good luck to him!!

It beats the cheap faded sills but I wonder how hardy leather would be.

I must say they look really bloody good. When I have seen the CF ones, as nice as they are, but found them to plain. These however would go ridiculously well with my diagonal soft top liner.

This thread is very old but this interior trim looks amazing. I am going to email the company but wondered if anyone has this trim of knows of any as good looking alternatives? I'm looking for leather sill covers and suede door card covers and dash panel in suede.

That's the problem with the sills.  No matter how careful you are you only have to touch them when dragging your foot over and gravel/dust on and around the soles of your shoe will mark them.  I replaced my originals with CF and then protected them with helicopter tape and despite getting in an out with utmost care the tape has scuff marks on it.  Same applies to the bolster. Since having new seats I have been taking the greatest care getting in and out so as not to wear the bolster and still there are slight wear marks from just easing myself gently down in the seats.

My plastic sills have a gentle radius on the edge of them now where through the years I have slid into the car against them.

Like a castle stair with foot steps warn into the tred, the car is moulding to me all the more.
