Regal is an offical distributor for dbilas. http://www.dbilas-dy...s_eng/index.htm dbilas has 2 turbo kits for the z22se; a 215 bhp for 4300 euro and a 300 bhp for 7000 euro. In holland we have 2 260 kits running, and 1 300 on speedsters. The 260 kit, later became the 300, and the 215 is a new "light" kit. Some pics of a belgian speedster, just completed yesterday by their dutch distributer: http://www.speedster...er=asc&start=30

215bhp for 4300euro? :o That's a bit expensive is it not given the relatively small costs for the parts?

Pricing in the UK is nicer for everything; cars, OEM parts, tuners, hour rates etc. We just pay more for some reason.
Hence why shopping for vx's and tuning stuff is so interesting for us Continental guys.

The cheapest tuning we have available is an SC 250 conversion, which is 6K.
It all goes up from there.
So in perspective, 4300 can be acceptable.
DIY'ing it for cheaps is not so common either, as in the UK.

There is a guy in the village next to mine with one. His car is immaculate, looks like a VXR. Doesn't drive it much though. I think he is on here but don't think he posts much.

And the buyer should contact dbilas to see what is needed, to turn this into the 300bhp version, as the basis of the 240 and the more recent 300 kit is the same.

They also have a 260 kit (where they originally started off with)which costs 5500 euro. They charge 640 euro for fitting, which is really nothing seeing the amount of work (clam off etc) and the Maha dyno they have where they fine tune the fuelling on etc.

It might be a lot of money, but you get:
1. Flowtec manifold
2. Turbo-charger
3. dbilas dynamic exhaust manifold
4. intercooler
5. FlowMaster air filter system with FlowPipe,
6. a complete inox exhaust with sport catalytic converter
7. intercooler pipes with hoses, oil- and coolantlines.

+ they give a 2-year warantee, not only on the products they have fitted, but also on your engine, transmission and driveshafts after they have verified before the conversion that all is in good shape.
This last point is what pursuaded me, because nobody in this business does that.

The Duke

In a used state, it would not be enough for a J&L + exhaust.
As Courtenay is a respected tuner on the island, Dbilas is over here.

I guess europe just loves being reamed for engine tuning, Mind you that must come from the crap rules/taxes which leads to the whole low/slow/massively over stretched tyres look with no go (kinda like reverse rat look  )

Just a question of suply and demand.
Not much tuners around, thus those that are charge top money.

All we have here in NL is a lotus dealer that does 6K SC conversions, and a dbilas reseller that does 7k turbo conversions.
That's all we have. In Belgium there is nothing.
We rely on germany or UK for the good stuff.
DIY SC conversions are a handfull here.
