Ah the shift light system for Lotuses... Who knows it might work with Vaux... I am sure one of this sites users will be able say for sure if it works or doesn't on our cars. Best regards, Paul

I've a got an I-shift fitted, quite a useful little gadget. Integrated into the top of the instrument binnacle so it's directly in the line of sight, easy to fit, just need to splice a few wires into the main instrument loom behind the clocks. Good concise instructions too.
Best bit is when you turn on the ignition the lights sequence and then all flash momentarily, which I find very cool :D

Thats in the line of sight for the rev counter, why not use that as your guide? I think they have them on Elises more for the fact that they have such a thin power band and it helps keep them on the boil, we dont have such problems generally do we on any vx. Martin s

It's all diy, not a bad job if you take your time and are willing to redo bits when you cock them up ;)

Yep, that's mine but hopefully won't be there TOO much longer

I find that with my seating position/height, plus rather dodgy eyesight, it's much easier to concentrate on what's happening on the road in front of me with the shift lights just on the edge of my peripheral vision, rather than having to look down and refocus on the tacho.

Its an age thing! :)

Perhaps I should pull my finger out and finish fitting my heads up display...or just sell it as I CBA.

It certainly is unfortunately, bifoculs FTW, and don't even let me get started on arthritic elbows.....

You should fit that HUD, I could do with a laugh :D
Still think it could be a good idea as long as it doesn't look too Halfords

Darcini, I have seen how you have done your shift I when I was at Phoenix and it's easily the best interior on a Vx I have seen, how did you do that yourself? Any chance you could do mine? Lol

I'm surprised you've stopped laughing since you first saw my car. Not the cleanest example! :D

I've just bought a much cheaper alternative from ebay: http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1423.l2661 Hoping to fit it this weekend. It certainly looks good when you connect it to a battery and all the lights come on :)
