Hi all, Hoping someone can help me. The hose that runs from the washer bottle outlet to the jets has come loose. If I pull the hose, it ends up flush with the end of the bracket that holds it/leads it to its final destination. What i want to know is; What is it meant to connect to? Is there some form of adaptor piece that it fits over? I've poked my head under the bonnet to have a look and cant seem to see its mating piece. Has anyone else had this issue? Also, when I pull the washer stalk in the car to activate them, there does not appear to be any noise. Is this because the connection is not complete between bottle and jets, or is the motor broke? Help would be appreciated!!! Cheers.

Hi,
Had a simiar issue where the washer hose would blow off the windscreen washers when you used them. I solved this by wrapping the connections with a small tie wrap. The hose goes from the washer pump, up to a T piece under the wiper mechanism, to the washer jets as per drawing below:

The washer pump may be not be working, but obviously you will be able to tell that when you try to operate the windscreen washers :)

New ones are pretty cheap so may be worth replacing...

Not sure what you mean about the hose But as far as the motor goes mine wasn't working It was the connections on the motor feed were loose Best way is to stick a multimeter in the plug and get someone to operate the washer switch No power = switch or fuse or feed cable Power = motor or a bad connection in the plug

Essentially, the end of the hose had come loose from its mating piece (i.e the T-piece as mentioned in the above thread). You'll have to excise me for being an electrical numpty - Where is the motor feed? Which plug should the multi-meter be hooked up to and where is it?

Cheers!!

Start with the plug on the motor which is on the bottle And work your way back from there 
