Removed and cleaned up my heater box and now need to re-seal it, should I use hot glue or tiger seal? Worth popping a self tappers in for good measure too?

I just used a thin bead of regular black silicone sealant from Wickes on mine. Plus some replacement strips of foam around the inlet and outlet and the internal flap. And just replaced all of the peel rivets with new ones.

Sorry for not using search, is there a guide with photos on how to do this? How much of a ball ache is it to do, how long does it take? Cheers

It's not too bad - made easier if your battery has a handle to lift it out, and the bonnet is removed. I also had to drill out the rivets and remove the clips that hold the wiring loom as the box would not budge past them!

I'll have photos soon...

Same here, much easier to drill them out before you try to take the heater box out rather than getting it stuck in the opening and needing to hack saw them off down a small gap.
