I love this car, and really dont want to sell it, but needs must unfortuantly

It has the standard spec of bi-xenons/ABS/electric windows/remote central locking/heated mirrors/power steering/electronic diff lock etc, and also has aircon and the 6 speed gearbox.

The interior is red rather than the usual black with red door cards, red seatbelts and red/black seats.

One previous owner

Full service History

MOT til September 2012

Tax til June 2012

3 Keys (2 full and emergency key)

¾ a tank of fuel!

Overview

I have owned this car since February 2008 when it had 48000 miles.

In that time I have taken it up to just over 95000 miles, and had a lot of fun doing so.

The exterior is in good condition as you can see from the photos, as is the interior.

I have upgraded the suspension to set of adjustable Koni Coilovers ( http://www.europerfo...oduct=555770723 ) and upgraded the wishbone bushes to Powerflex items.

I have also replaced all the other rubber suspension parts as a preventative measure. (Top mounts, droplinks, ARB bushes etc)

It has 4 very recent Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD-3 tyres, which are excellent tyres and score very well in the major tyre tests.

This is genuinely an excellent car, I am selling as I have bought my girlfriend a Cooper S, and I'm saving for a VX220 myself so currently using her old car. I can honestly say I am gutted to be selling, but I'm no longer insured on it so cant use it.

There are currently 859 Lupo GTIs left in the country, which is very rare by anyone's standards!

Most suffer from bubbling along the roof gutters, however mine was fixed under warranty by VW in September 2010 when the roof and both rear ¾ panes were resprayed by VW York.

Service History

The car had its Pre-delivery inspection on 24/10/2001, and since then has been serviced on

04/10/2002 7070 miles

22/10/2003 16770 miles

21/10/2004 23426 miles

10/10/2005 31324 miles

03/10/2006 35083 miles

09/06/2007 40508 miles (Inc cambelt, tensioners)

12/03/2008 48548 miles

21/08/2008 56828 miles (Inc new starter motor)

06/03/2009 65809 miles (Inc Gearbox oil)

16/12/2009 75240 miles (Inc cambelt, Aux belt, waterpump, tensioners)

29/11/2010 85429 miles (Inc brake fluid, coolant)

19/10/2011 95009 miles

Aircon regassed last year.

New front brake disks and pads approx 4000 miles ago (Pagid parts)

Whilst I have owned the car I has used only Shell V-Power fuel (with card to prove) and have always used genuine VW service parts direct from VW and Mobil1 0w-40 oil.

The car is always warmed up properly and treated with the greatest mechanical sympathy, please don't buy it if you are going to neglect it – Id rather keep as an ornament than see it in a sorry state.

I am no photographer, so apologise for the slightly blurry photos!

Price - £4000, which is of course, negotiable.

Most suffer from bubbling

In that case you'll not have any nasty surprises when you get a VX thumbsup

How dare you

Its brilliant to drive, a lot of fun. 6th in this is the same as 5th in the 5-speed box, so the rest are a lot shorter

After several years of being on here, I am well versed in the common VX faults, all 4356 of them :P
