Don't complain, it gives you an extra month to get ready thumbsup Think Mike was only able to get confirmation of the Brands dates the rest was probably a guesstimate using last years experience.

Still spending more than I should/ can justify on the vx  It's finally got a charge cooler so thought all the big money project were done with, which is of course when the gbox decided it didn't like running with my modest amount of torque. I've already got a box but was waiting to see if I can get a bit of a deal with the new clutch and fly from the Autosport show. Also planning an external recirc valve before the stage 4 remap, hope that will help the on/off boost property. If its as bad as some say I will revert to this map. Booked into Courtenays mid March so won't be doing any TD's before that :(

So for the championship, its 7 rounds, but you can drop one round , or is it best 6 results from 7 ?

You can drop your worst result but a no show is not classed as a result so you CANNOT drop no show rounds.

So if you miss one... you still have to drop another "worst round"? Thus having effectively 2dropped rounds?

If you only compete 6 rounds then do you count 6 , this isn't very clear

No, you have to drop a round regardless of the number of round you run in. So if you turn up to run in five only, you still drop your worst so only have 4 rounds to count. The Sierra Cosworth in Jimmy's class fell foul of that rule last year with a no show at Knockhill which was a round he couldn't drop. Jimmy gained on it as we had a crap Cadwell where we turned up but didn't run but that was a round we could drop as we did attend to compete. Is that clearer?

Not remotely clear , for instance how did Brands work out, you drove your car iirc? http://www.timeattac...lished Copy.pdf 1.6.3 The totals from all Events will determine the final championship positions.

No matter what you have to drop a round so if you only turn up to 2 of the 7 events you only get the points for 1 round. If you turn up to 3 of the events and have a driver/car change in 1 event (whist you are still attending the track) you get points for 2 events

If you want to be in with a chance of winning the season you have to attend every round (as we did). They will then only count your six best results. A no show cannot be used as your 'dropped round'. A 'fail to finish' can be dropped. Simples :)

Don't understand where you are getting these rules from as they are not in the regulations published , see above link.
