Recently there has been several posts showing interest in Leather or Alcantara seat covers. As our business is refurbishing aircraft interiors, we are able to manufacture and fit replacement covers for the VX in either Alcantara or leather. We already had two spare seats which has given us the opportunity to cover one in red Alcantara as a taster. The seat is now in the passenger side of our Le Mans Green VX and we will be at Bruntingthorpe on the sunday for anybody who is interested in seeing what we can do. The price to have two seats recovered in all leather or all Alcantara includes the material, making up new covers and fitting is £550-00 plus VAT and delivery, . Also looking into Alcantara dash and binnacle panels, door cards and centre consoles more details to follow. Any questions please PM us. Tadpole and Frogman.

Alcantara can be in a combination of colours avalible for £580-00 plus VAT (for the extra half metre of material used) i.e black sides and red centre pannels. Leather sides and Alcantara centre panels a charge for the extra one and a half metres of Alcantara would make it £640-00 plus VAT. Two tone leather would be £670-00 plus VAT for the extra hide in the different colour. (We are only charging, at cost, for the extra materials we use as we are resricted to minimum quantity order.)

I was going to say Lotus charge a lot less, but this is for both seats, right? It looks like a really good job, I'd be interested in the dash and other parts as well! :) (Gear surround, doors etc...)

so technically its better to not pay Vauxhall the £800 quid they charge for leather get the dixie cloth and get your people to retrim them for around £650 ish and i would still save £150 and technically end up with better quality leather? thats great news.

This is the route I will take if I choose a VXT, but will probably have alcantara too.

Looks good! Looking forward to seeing the dash, instrument binnacle and door card prices, though I'm not sure what colour door cards would go with Europa/Biscuit

Great, another pull on my wallet! ;) Seriously though, when my seats get worn I would probably go down this route if still open. It seems like a very reasonable price. Anybody else have any comparasons? Imnotworthy frogman

Thanks for the positive comments. The prices are for both seats including fitting and matrials. But please note they are all plus VAT. We have a spare dashboard and binnacle which are covering shortly so we will have a idea how long it takes and we should be able to post prices and pics soon. We now have a price to cover the centre console in black leather only of £90-00 plus VAT and carriage. P.s Vermania black and cream to match your phone cover would be no probs. ;) Tadpole and Frogman.

Cheers mate this sounds great. Whack your details up here for your company and i can get in touch when i get to this bridge. So can you re trim dixe cloth seats so i can carry out my plan mentioned earlier? would you just plaster the leather over the top or would you remove the cloth? and then re - upholster Look forward to seeing the pics.
