i havent got access to pictures... but look down underneath the coolant bottle. from here deep down you will see some arm leavers that move when the greabox is being moved... funily enought these are the gear box selector leavers and are attached to the gear box. ;) just by there you can then see/feel a little plastic cap that freely rotates (it will feel like a reasonably large sized nipple that has just come in from the cold...), just pull that mofo off with a pair of pliers (the cap; not yourself or a young ladie's nipple) and attach a piece of hose to it maybe put a jerry clip on there too. i would get a little filter from a hobby shop (remote control cars seem to use about the right size). i would just put in a long bit of hose for now and then line stuff up when you have the clam back on so you can make it look neat. if the clam is off for a couple of days, buy and egr cheater and fit that and a blanking plate, it is easier with the clam off.

I used 13mm fuel pipe and a little filter and had no more problems with the gearbox oil.

OK this seems nice and easy. One question what is the purpose and what are advantages of doing this. Will it stop something being damaged long term or what?

Get down to pirtek and get a nice brass barbed push fit connector - cant remeber thread size I use. Slightly drill out the hole (Need to seperate the cover from box and rag behind first and of course clean after) and then tap and bit of loctite and put in - lot better imo DG

Stops excess gearbox oil being spat out onto the wheel primarily when doing TD's.

Reduces/prevents gearbox oil being liberally distributed over the NSR wheel during spirited driving particularly on trackdays

edit: too slow
