I'm going to get my seat bolsters re done and harness holes cut in, but has anyone got any other simple ideas for improving the seats. I dont want heated seats or to add extra foam but any ideas on how to make them look better appreciated (pictures would be good). My prime seat colour is navy blue and are in a Europa blue car thats interior is mainly carbon fibre. Martin s

Folk remove the passenger seat lumbar support quite frequently do they not? I remember driving my old NA up from Southampton and pumping up the lumbar support more and more, and it got more and more uncomfortable. I soon realised and then pretty much junked the air bag pump on the drivers side. The GF complained about the passenger seat being uncomfortable, so I would cut out the wee cushion lumber bit if I were to get another one... Not much help with the drivers side though, as you sound as if youve got the basses covered...

Get the bolsters done in the Carbon fibre look leather for the bolsters, think it's hard wearing and what Lotus were using.
Check with Dave the Trimmer

Edit: yeah what FLD is on about :)

I plan to do the carbon leather, took the passenger bolsetr out many moons ago to stop my daughter moaning. May get some wording sewn in, i.e. vx220 sc or something in blue and some blue stitching or something. I'll fire up photoshop soon. Martin s

No. They're OEM Lotus seats from 2-eleven.

Sorry Joe, I cant buy those seats as my diet doesnt consist of mcdonalds and vodka, but a far wider, fattier, beer based one. Consequently I am a lardy bastard who couldnt get his arse in them or if he could, has trouble geting it out again!
Thanks all. I'll do some designs and post when theyre done. Wont be anything exotic as I really like the seats as they are, but they need some loving.

For seat heaters you can buy the seat heater coverings and pull the elements out and put them in the seats, something I've had planned for a while, got some heated seat covers from pound stretcher for £9.99 last year. Just need to find time to cut, trim and install them.

just put a couple of spacers in under the front end of the support brackets, this is the same as making it recline.
