Good video, i was a bit scared at times, looks quite slippery
Tis a notorious road, past the Bein Inn - as I said my parents always classed it a 'bad road'. Plenty of tree cover, so often still damp. Not sure it's really a happy hunting ground for a VX.
Incidentally, I had my one and only accident by not taking that road (which I knew) and taking an alternative one (that I'd never really been on). Two weeks and two days after passing my test. Ended with the car in a ditch on its roof and an insurance write off. Oops!

Thought I recognised some of the roads!
I used to (and my parents still do) live in Bridge of Earn, and I have a friend who used to live in Glenfarg. Been on that stretch plenty of times, though never in the Vx. One of those routes that parents regard as a dangerous one (which means its a fun one). Do miss the great roads we had/have on tap up there, Bedfordshire isn't quite the same!
How are you finding the GoPro. Have an old non-HD one which isn't that great, but we used GoPros a lot when I worked at Auto Express. In fact a lot of people in the industry use them, shame they're not exactly cheap.

Yeah, one of my favourit roads in the area. There was a crash just at the entrance to Glenfarg and a load of glass over the road. Police were sat in their car watching everyone drive over the glass....
It is an HD but GoPro had just released a HD2. Picked mine up from amazon for about £150 with the motorsport kit.
The road is often quite slippy, as there is a landfill site just off the road and loads of lorries drag mud and drop diesel onto it. I nearly came off my motor bike a couple of years ago on diesel on on of the corners. Luck to stay upright.

Some of us went up that road on the return leg of the Highland Hoon last year on the way to Glenrothes. Was nice and dry then!
Now I dare you to do her again in the VXR8 w the traction off ;-)

Seriously there are more VXR8 forums than there are VXR8's in the country!
vxronline, hsvowners, hsv.org, the list goes on and on.
Should have just bought a second VX220 HAR-HAR ;-)
