Even if you found it, the Bat Cave has an alarm:

back in business i think :D

swapped the lambda for a z20let gm one which appears to be a normal lambda sensor two white one black and one grey, however goes into the connector differently

z22se:

1 - grey
2 - black
3 - white
4 - white

z20let:

1 - white
2 - white
3 - grey
4 - black

current AFR around the 14.7 mark but fluctuating from 14.3 - 15.2 but getting better and better

opcom is now reading o2 sensor 1 as active in closed loop at idle and open when revving, mV is fluctuating from all the way through the scale to be honest upto 750mV from 200ish not sure if this is normal but AFR appears to be good :D

time to get it booked into cms again :D

Good you finally sorted the O2 wiring and it sounds to be working perfect now. You can see the difference in O2 connector pins in the TIS diagrams, only the Z22SE primary square O2 connector is marked A-B-C-D and the flat secundary connector 1-2-3-4.

Although wondering what has been changed since the first starts/runs in the beginning where it seemed to run OK too...

yeah a bit bizarre that it was running fine before the long run that killed it.. i guess it was running off previous data supplied by nicks car, then the long run made it recalibrate?

That's really bizarre as closed loop is closed loop and that is in full function when the engine has warmed up. Or it was then not running in closed loop at all due to this wire fault and the ecu lost it after some time. PS, did you try your old AMM again to see how that performs now?

i havent tried the old AMM since using the correct lambda when using the wrong lambda, the amm went straight to 10.0 ten change it for the new one and it would go up to 12ish then change again and straght back down to 10.0 so was pretty certain it was a dead AMM

With a non functioning O2 you are in open loop without any feedback. Slight differences in the AMM sensor and inlet tract can throw your idle AFR''s off big time withour being tuned for. Try the old one again before you throw it away.
