Sometime before Christmas I noticed that the car was pumping out more than the usual cloud of white smoke/steam on start up - more than could be put down to condensation in the exhaust alone. The first time it happened it was so thick that the cars behind disappeared completely! :o I'd not lost any engine coolant so was able to discount HGF. On checking the charge-cooler header tank I found the level was a good few inches down. Of course that's the one thing I no longer routinely check as there never seemed to be any loss. To cut a long story short, it turned out to be the laminova core seals, a couple of which had hardened and flattened. A new set of seals and some sealant later and all seems to be well. It's more than a bit annoying that the seals have failed so soon. The manifold was a new unit, installed less than 4 years ago and has probably covered under 20k since. The moral is to keep an eye on your charge-cooler coolant levels as it's not the sealed unit I thought it was! Thanks go to - well you know who you are! thumbsup Imnotworthy

Water injection. Kept your intake temps nice and low. It's probably what the rest of us with silly pulleys need to do.

 I'd be interested to see some with and without chargecooler metrics to see what difference they make with "only" 250 bhp on tap.

Yes, please share. As mine weren't in the best condition when I put the thing together.

I have the Alumunium header tank so you can't look see how much is in. Should it be roughly half full??

Sorry Vix I wasn't trying to sound as dim as I did. What I meant was there are obviously no markings like on the radiator header tank, and as I bought the car with the Supercharger already fitted, I wanted to know how full it should be. I'll go with Joes suggestion of below the return flow.

;) I think I'm about 80mm below the extreme top of the filler cap - about 25mm below the return flow. thumbsup
