Ok, so not the most exciting question in the world, but my new VX has a wiper that makes a horendous clicking noise at the end of it's sweep, as the blade flips over. What do people find works the best?

haha you do need to be going over 20mph for the far edge of the wiper to work but it clears the viewing area at any speed (mine does at least)

Odd. No matter what speed it was crap. I think my dog can clear the windscreen better with its tail.

Swapped it back for my old one for now.

I have this one as well after trying various different ones and i have to say it does the job perfectly and the intergrated spray bar is an added bonus, works a treat compared to the standard washers!

I tried the Halfords Zafira blade as recommended on here years ago but wasn't impressed. I find the OEM one works just fine. thumbsup

Bosch ones not good either with a VXT or S2 fitting as the plastic clip allows the wiper to pivot 90° in the arm blade hook

swapped back from the new Bosch that the MOT guy insisted upon last year to the 2 year old PIAA curved one. downsides of the silicon based ones are that they are weird in very cold weather

Glad this came up! Was just thinking about a new wiper. Just ordered a Piaa curved silicone one. Hope this is better than the current wiper that seems to make the windscreen wetter.... chinky chinky

I have the elise S2 arm and blade. The difference compared to OEM was well worth the expense.

When I used mine all year round the PIAA one was rubbish when temps went below freezing. It was as if the blade had frozen. I use a cheap aero blade now the end misses the screen but at least the rest works!

I've very rarely had to use the wiper :D It always suprises me, with is massive single sweep.
