Does everyones car have these velcro bits on the seat belt sockets or is it just mine? If it is a Lotus factory fit thing then what are their purpose?

The only reason I could think of is if a previous owner had something like this fitted, but then I would have thought they would attach more securly than that?

Mine has them as well and No idea what the idea is Only thing I can guess is if it actually worked It would stop the seatbelt socket from springing back when not used ????

Hmm makes sense, obvious really. They could have done with using more of it on other areas around the car prone to rattling. Although I have moved mine to accommodate harnesses I didn't think they where close enough before to hit against the center console.

If they did that with all the rattles it would just end up a fuzzy car!
