Hi guys anyone help with some information, just wonderd what the normal running temp is for an Na. The digital readout is hard to gauge compared to a normal dial. I was thinking it is about 85. Is that right or not. Thanks for any info you have. :-)

My current one is 89/90. Old one (which didn't have a front V) used to run at 86/87.

Love threads on running temp..... Stop looking at the gauges and drive the thing :D you won't do any damage until at least 120 degrees.

The radiator opens up fully after 91*C and so the target temperature is around there. The fan doesn't kick in until 106, if there was a automatic way to change it, I'd have the fan run at 98*C

Hi, I'm not worried about the temp on my car , I just don't do many miles but I do use it every day to work. I've noticed that the heater blows nice and worm when the temp is at 80-90. So I've blocked of the front grill with some vinyl and put some cardboard under the bonnet grilles to make the car warm up quicker, like they do in cold climates ie they put bibs on etc.... This I have found makes the car worm up alot quicker and when your driving it stays up at them temps about 85-90. Normally when driven for awhile and stop'ed at the lights or running in heavy traffic the temp reaches eventually about 85-90 and I'm worm but as soon as I get moving and I don't mean fast just standard traffic the temp drops and so dos the heat !!! NOW no temp drop when moving and I'm worm all the time. Will obviously remove when the days start to worm up. I do think that the heaters in these cars are ok its just the engines never get hot enough. Now come on tell me I'm crazy :-)

Yep, you're crazy.

I know they get hot enough when driven for awhile but on short runs in this cold weather it never gets hot enough quick enough. I'm impatient I know but by blocking the cold air off this makes the car heat up quicker as if we are on a nice hot sunny day.
..... Ok I'm mad :-))
