Due to terrible finances at the moment I think I need to sell my rare (think there are only about 40 spare sets out there? - other sets came on the VXR220) Speedlines

They have KU39s on them (fairly new - covered under 1000 miles)

I would like to exchange them with someone who has some satin/matte black TD 1.2s (16/17) shod in almost new AD08s or R1Rs and some money my way....

They are in decent condition but a couple of them could use a touch up...

I reckon a set of mint speedlines + tires are worth 1100 - mine require a little touching up so reckon they are worth 900 ish

I reckon a set of TDs + good treaded AD08s/R1Rs are worth 550 ish after the recent group buy?

So would like to offer my Speedlines for your black TD1.2s + £400 my way?

also detailed pictures will help (not just the car from a distance with speedlines on, there are 100s of those on here). As soon as people actually see them they'll go and bite your hand off. Other than Techie, but he's weird ( ).

Will do if I can't do this - happy to get a little less £££ for the convenience of just swapping some wheels over and some £ my way

What James said... Coz as I see it.... you want TDs+AD08+£400 for your Speedlines plus KU39s. Well, the cheapest you can get TDs for is £450 on the new GB and cheapest fitted AD08s is £500... So I make that £950. So someone would be giving up decent track tyres for average road tyres. Hence, I think you'd be better off selling them and then buying a replacement with the funds. (My TDs owe me £400+£460 as they are brand new wheels and brand new AD08s, hence it doesn't make sense for me to swap even though I do like the Speedlines).

Truth is, my suspicion is that few will want to exchange TDs with expensive tyres on, with Speedlines with Budget tyres on and and have to pay something. Because they'll then have to go and buy the expensive tyres they already had (which they had decided were necessary, since they had bought them). So the outlay is huge, their wheels and tyres+300/400quid + a new set of tyres ( £500 for AD08s and R1R) because they won't want the budget ones (else they would have had budgets on their TDs). I accept that age and life of the tyres will count, but not a lot, since you won't really want to have to go and buy tyres soon so you'll want the items you exchange for to be pretty good.

Sorry - Maybe I made a typo somewhere.... all four have KU39s on them, they aren't miss-matched.

Yeah I am asking someone to downgrade tires to get some very rare Speedlines - I figure a hardcore tracker wouldn't use Speedlines anyway and KU39s are perfectly decent road tires (quite a few of us have even tracked them and they are ok there too). It's no prob to sell them without the exchange anyway - just from a simplicity POV I thought I would offer this first.
