Getting mine replaced next week with some nice new Tuthill ones and don't want them to cook again!
Merlin have some here in various diameters
At a guess 1meter of the 25mm stuff and cut to 2 x 50cm lengths should be enough?

I used this. Won't apply to you as your cables will be off the car but it's split along it's length so can be applied with the cables in-situ. Not had any sticky feeling shifts since it went on.
i have these as well, dead easy to fit even with the cable on and for added peace of mind they make me happy.

I'm going to get some sorted for my cables. I'm sure after 8months of daily use my tuthill cables aren't feeling as great as they did when first fitted :/
Dude don't say that!

Do you track your car much at all?
Heat shouldn't affect them with normal use, my heat shield was missing, that with SCing and some pretty hard and hot track days I think cooked mine.
