[A-GAME]

Had this quote from a custom exhaust fabricator who's work has been highly recommended and even owns a vx with this system on themself! Stainless steel complete system turbo back 2.5"dia 200cell sports cat and silencer twin 3"exit pipes rolled inwards £850+vat or cat back system £385+vat Does that sound like a decent enough price? Should i opt for anything different (not planning to track the car much, more for road use) Also, would I have any issues come MOT time with this set up? I have a stage 1+ vxt with a remap and miltek pre cat pipe many thanks for any help/opinions

Sounds like a decent enough quote, what grade and thickness of SS do they use? Maybe squeeze them a bit on price. Based on the fact that if they have done a VXT before they may still have the jig set up available for the job so would be saving on the workload by it not having to be a completly bespoke fabrication. You may be borderline on the emissions test with that set up. Depends how anal the examiner is but sports cats tend to have to really be up to temperature to perform well. Some can now fail you on an excessively loud back boxes aswell, unlikely to be picked up on though.
