Have you bought one? It has been on that site for a while, I half considered getting one using the logic that it was unlikely to depreciate much so I could use it and then sell it on at a later date so it would effectively cost me maybe £200. Very nice but alot of extra money over having a wrapped or painted regular one. There's the potential of a big steal hanging from those 4 simple allen bolts too!

Would be interesting to see the weight difference, I weighed my painted plastic blade at 6.2lbs (2.81227 kg) I believe Darcini made his own CF one which weighed 1.87kg

I wonder how long it will be before someone asks 'compared to the normal blade does it...'

Yep, mine saves about a kilo but it's a wet laid construction so an autoclaved version would save a bit more weight. 650 quid though, might sell mine if that's what they're going for

I'm guessing the carbon ones don't wobble?

I don't want to put the downers on that wing but... I had a good look (and feel) of that wing at Autosport, and was not impressed at all to be honest, they seem flawed on a variety of basic design principles like:

1) Not being adjustable.
2) Being low down in poor air.
3) Compromised curved shape to allow the boot to open and modelled on airflow off a 'fastback' (ie not a VX220 rear clam).
4) Poor chord ratio (just 1:5 or 1:6 if I remember).

Instead, I've just had one bespoke fabricated up and it's being delivered soon which remedies all those issues. There is a pic of it at the bottom of here with 3 paragraphs about it further up the page. It should be installed and tested by late April and I will write up if it's any good on that page.

Nev, you are comparing a spoiler that was probably mainly made for looks as aposed to performance gains oh and your mounts if you are thinking of using the C metal brackets in the boot will probably flex if you want to use them then make them into a box to strengthen them

Yea, I had to buy it without inspecting it :( My bodywork guy will be checking it all and maybe replace/strengthen/change whatever doesn't look good enough.
