I can't see the VX being a 'classic' so to speak. Rare as time goes by but not a classic IMO.

absolutely, vx will never be a classic. no name, no heritage, no racing history, possibly vaguely interesting as an anomally.

Where the vx is different is that it was never superseeded. Part of the reason it looks current, nearly 15 years after it was designed.

I'd not say the Clio v6 will be a future classic as its just a lame attempt at making the gordini rne 5 which is a classic. Tough to say. It the s1 Elise is deffo on its way to classic status as it did bring proper a proper sports car to the 'poor'

I see the Renault spyder as a car that should've been more. Very disappointing.

S1 Elise will def be a classic. Values are really strong at the moment but only for near standard ones

I thought the vx would be a classic as its rare. When I get bored of mine it's going into storeage, it's different, and if it doesn't become classic it'll be drained of fluid and go in my living room as a sculpture (-: always have a use

I tried one at Bedford Autodrome when I first started looking at Elises and VX's. Rubbish. Slow and didn't particularly handle and makes even S1 Elise roofs look good. Would much rather have had the Clio Williams that the engine was from.

Rare != classic A classic brings something new/different to the table.. IMHO. I'd stick my neck out and say the rs6 and m5 estate would be a 'classic' as they are just batshit mental family cars

Consensus on how many vx's will be left in 20 years time? Very few imo
