Looks like I have the 120A alternator so in order for the SC manifold to fit I think I need the 100A version.

I have been looking on ebay and this looks like the one I need:

Does that look correct and reasonably priced or should I try one of the regular Vauxhall parts places like Autovaux?

Make sure to get a good used 100a.
Ebay sells cheap "new" 100a ones, but they have the housing of the 120.

I had a feeling it would not be straightforward, are there any definitive ways to know I am getting a 100A size alternator?

I am now thinking this as it says it is a remanufactured Vauxhall part? But really I have no idea

Main problem is vauxhall part number is used for both 100 and 120 version. As mentioned, a ducth guy bought a 100a aftermarket, and had ot butcher is to pieces, as it was as big as a 120. Best options is is a used 100 from a vx/speedster or astra. get a picture confirmation with the 100 number on the black plastic to be 300% sure. Even a fooked on will do after a refurb.
