How come people dont fit different wheels to the vx other than the td's, vxr style, turismos etc? I've been looking and there is loads of wheels that are 5x110 stud pattern, so why don't people fit different styles. As i have been looking at these and can't see why they wont fit. http://www.ebay.co.u...=item1e6d3b4700 I know these will need spacers to push the offset out on the front to make them fit.

You can get those in the correct widths and offsets from a couple of places. About £700 last time it was mentioned if I remember.

There are loads of wheels that will fit with spacers, just seems nobody wants to use spacers!

They are the same width front and rear, vx uses different widths front to rear. Its unlikely you will be able to buy a single wheel should you damage one beyond repair. Email them to ask if you can buy single wheels.

This.

Using wheel spacers and / or PCD adaptors you can fit virtually any 5 stud wheel assuming everything else is taken into account.

I nearly bought a set of Enkei's to fit with adaptors, but couldnt make my mind up in the end..

There are loads of wheels out there for the vx. Would anyone be up for buying 4 wheels in say et30 then i buy the same set in et20 then we do a swap for 2 wheels.

Was going to post this up in in its 'own' thread but seeing as its 'on topic' will stick it in here!

Fitted the ATS DTC's today and...

Really think the VX suits a 17" front and the rubber choice for the ATC's is massive :)

Gone with 205/235 AD08's and even with -2.5' rear camber no rubbing front or rear.

and on a 9J rim they are W I D E !!!

Quite nice, If you like that sort of thing, you really need to give them a good workout though, say something like a Carlimits day or similar, just to build some confidence in them. thumbsup
If it was me, that's what I'd do.
Just saying, you know.
IMHO.

Looks brilliant Simon. Think the car really suits silver rims! Mine don't rub on the road but they do just on track but mine are 245 wide.

Thats a really good idea but I thought I'd take those 'old' Braids and really give it the beans on the high speed bend... you know see what the car can really do! :D

Don't worry 'your' R1R's are now sitting in the garage and will not be seeing any tarmac again till you fit them! :)
