I hear the lotus one is slightly shorter so might need trimming is this true? also how much crap is there to clean off, it is my plan to do it tomorrow :) Any chemicals worth investing in before I start? Thanks I did look on here for a tutorial but nothing came up.

The Lotus seal fits perfect, do not trim it. You must remove ALL the old adhesive tape and Silkaflex, this will take several hours :glare: I used solvent cleaner to remove the remains of the old adhesive tape, but your finger nails are best to get the tape off

I fitted the top section of the seal first, then the sides (start at the bottom where it joins the lower seal) Also worth doing a dry run to see where it all goes

Did it last year. Vocky's advise of cleaning it throughly is spot on, I had to use tigerseal to get it to bond :/ then use some masking tape to hold it in place while it all dries.

Job went quite well, just inside the door shut area was probably the hardest to get. Used a mixture of bodyshield pro to work under the glue stuff, Autoglym bug and tar remover and some nail polish remover lol. Cleaned up and then placed the seat on. Window seal went on quite well, i had to snip a bit off the old seals as the N/A rear are longer than the turbo seals. Only problem I have now is, I need to higher my window slightly, looks slightly lower than driver side so still letting a little bit of water through on the middle of the window. Second problem is the rear one looks so bad now lol, need to replace that i think in the future.
