I found a way to hinge mine, with struts and using the lock but it hit the spoiler when opening so i didnt bother.

  spill, I have no need for a big gay handle on the back of my VX. (hope I don't live to regret this post)   G

If it's got to do with Chris it will be a nice T hinge lol
