I've got one of those re-usable GM copper head gaskets with fire rings from crate engine depot. Cost me £250 plus just over £40 to the thieving tax man (grr). Going spare for £200 since I reviewed my plans. This features in the 1st version of the build book but I can find the extract. Its supposed to help with the 400bhp limit for liners prior to the availability of the dartons.

Requires a seat cutting in the head for the fire ring.
