Think I read somewhere that you can only fit one due to the width at shoulder height or thereabouts

Nick, I have the Lotus supplied version of that. Supplied in 2004 before Corbeau were allowed to sell their own direct. It is a very good seat and was fantiastic for sprints and hillclimbs, especially with a 5 point harness. Couple of things; - if you fix the seat in a mid position, the high sides make getting in and out in a narrow parking space almost impossible (ie. a garage or if someone parks close to you) roof off and climbing out by standing on the seat was my approach most times - the standard seat cushion is quite thick, so if you are over 5'11" you'll porbably need to remove some of it if you plan to use a crash helmet... I'm 6'2" and removed the cushion completely when competing - the side mounted seat fixings are an absolute pig to fit (think passenger seat front bolt and multiply by 10) there is no space at the side of the seat to get to the front mounts... I had to come up with some crazy fitting methods the first few times. Not ideal IMO if you plan to adjust it or remove regularly Gary ETA re above: you won't get 2 alongisde each other unless you offset them quite a bit

Fiveoclock, that makes sense I thought it looked a bit wide, Thanks Garry, no problem with height 5.6 , if it is on normal runners I take it they do slide, there is one going cheap I was wondering if I should try to get it.

I think they're infamous for having the side mounting bolt threads set in the wrong place.

 I might well be wrong though, it could have been the Cobra's that are the real nightmare. Not a problem I'll ever need to worry about as you need a 28" waist to get in (and more importantly out of) them.

Not going to work. AFAIK are these 'LE-driver' seats only meant to be fitted with special fixed frames and even then you can only fit 1 seat as the 'wings' are too wide to fit 2.

Eg. the frames in the back of this document:

http://www.billswebs...ointHarness.pdf

Only the Corbeau LE-X and LE-Pro series are a direct replacement and can be fitted on the original runners.

Bye, Arno.
