I'm fitting a supercharger at the moment, got all the bits off USA eBay, but I didn't get a throttlebody. Is it worth my while to get one from a lsj? Or is a Saab one the same? Or do I reuse the z22se one? Cheers

Stock 58mm or 65 mm fit with bracket, and connector is straight swap. 68mm fits straight on sc but requires wire swap om connector.

Whilst on a thread about throttle-bodies, does anyone happen to know what (if any) other larger throttlebodies would fit a Z20LET loom and plug and play. I know there are a lot of Bosche ones around with (seemingly) very similar plugs, but it's very hard to find out if the wiring/plug terminals would exactly match the Z2LET loom. I am happy to make an adapter bracket to accomodate for differing bolt pattern to fix it BTW. Thanks.

Oh that one. Never heard of anyone using that. Tbh I would use a lsj. Saves having a adaptor for it plus will give you a few bhp aswell

A few dutch guys bought them when doing NA tuning. (required obd tuner mapping, as the oem ecu could not handle the 65) You're right about the 68. Only sensible way forward for an SC.

I used the standard one but just wanted to get things up and running with the least amount of modifications, having said t hat it needed the holes drilling out which is probably more inconvenient than a bit of re wiring. Got a 68mm one so will probably swap sometime.

There are also some harness adaptors if you don't want to re-wire for the LSJ TB

As Joe has mentioned, you can reuse your existing TB.
You just need a spacer plate. http://www.courtenay...c/prod_832.html
The 68mm lsj is just to let more air in, as it is wider.

I got a used one form ZZP (was buying other stuff also) for about £40, so ended up costing £60 inclusive of taxes and shipping...

Thanks for your first positive and helpful post to me in approx a year. Though moving up from my 62mm to a 70mm I/D TB would help a fair bit, I think I need to move up to 76mm to be sure this is eliminated as a bottleneck once and for all. I know Porche use a 76mm one on some of their cars, but I need to find out if the plug on it is compatable with the Z20LET loom plug. There's no great urgency on this as I won't be addressing this issue till the winter I expect.
