Hi all Am in the throes of rebadging my VX. The front Vee needs repainting however. My VX is silver and the paint code given on the label on the door is 2OU. Questions:- 1. Is the silver for the front V the same silver as the bodywork? 2. Where is the best place to get the paint - is it available of the shelf at somewhere like Halfords? 3. What colour primer should I use for this colour - grey? 4. I am also going to paint the interior - is this ths same siver again? I have looked on the halfords website and none of the Vauxhall paint codes seem to match. (2.) Thanks Mark

Why not just wrap the front V by someone like PP...or do it yourself?

I did mine from with paints from http://www.paints4u.com/

I used their 2OU silver

Their primer is grey

Which part of the interior are you painting? The silver dash etc is a different silver to the bodywork

When you said they mixed it up Iwas that for the interior colour? If so was it a tin of paint you used for the interior and did you paint it by hand? I was thinking of aerosol for the front V.

Isn't the interior paint a special one a bit like Plasticoat?

Don't forget if you are painting the interior bits all the paint needs removing and a good primer as if you try to put new paint in the OEM shite if will lift and wrinkle
