I attempted to use the Gunson Eezibleeder with 20 psi of tyre pressure and made a massive mess. Is this too much? (The instructions say to use 20 psi)

isn't it something crazy high in the brake lines themselves due to the pedal ratio , 700psi

I found ezibleeder a complete load of confusing bollox when I tried one. I just did the normal method. Nowt wrong with that.

when me and boombang did mine in March we used a pipe connected to a spare wheel he had about and went about one wheel at a time, I stood at the front and just took the cap with the tube in off to refill the reservoir when it got about half empty and then reconnected the wheel connected cap till we were all done.. Dont forget the clutch :) really easy system, No idea what it was called but worked a treet.

After fitting goodridge brake lines I ended up having to invert my front calipers then bled them, this worked, as per the wiki guide.... plus, on the test drive.... coming straight of gas to brake didn't cause the hard brake pedal problem.... which is a first... It was either luck as I cant see how new hoses would stop this.... more testing the weekend.

I put mine on the nearest wheel, so it will hold 30+ psi

Same here. As a rule, always do a quick pressure test run without any fluid in the Gunson reservoir to see if there are any air leaks - better than spraying brake fluid everywhere! This way you can sort any potential leaks out and know how tight to do up the connections :)

20psi here but the trick is to not put any fluid in the EZ-bleed bottle. That just ends in disaster. Instead before the fluid goes below minimum top it right up and bleed through. This is where Stu's idea of using cheapo fluid to flush through is best (Halfords dot 4 on trade works for me). With the VX you need the fluid to be right at the top to bleed the clutch as the take off is way up on the brake fluid reservoir, for obvious reasons. Best done in a few attempts, topping up each time.

I always fill the bottle, with a fcuk load of fluid. Then run on 10psi or less.... never had an issue. When I tried 20psi it was a messy messy day
