I'm selling one of my watches, a Tag Heuer Carrera on ebay. Bought when I was living in Switzerland in 2008.I would be willing to let go to a forum member for the reserve price of £550 if someone was interested.

Thanks Tom, I was lucky enough to get the watch that I'd always wanted from my girlfriend for my 30th and as I don't think I can pull of a "Maradona" I thought I'd sell one of my other ones:

Nice looking watch, very smart. Mate has a big bang but the dealer has had it longer than him its always broken running fast or slow! Zenith man here ;)

Thanks all, I do like the Hublot Big Bang but it's a fair old lump to be carting round on your wrist! I had a green bezel Sub which I traded in recently (with the difference paid for by my girlfriend for my birthday) for the Daytona that I'd always wanted.

Simon, this is a real watch, not one off the beach in Torremelinos. It's not for you.

Good luck with the sale. Get some pics up of the Daytona. I do like watches, I love my IWC Portofino. It's good to hear there are others on here that appreciate mechanical watches thumbsup

Too late, the damage is done :tt: Anyway, it confuses the proles if I alternate real and 'replica' thumbsup

Ahh, I recall the National 2011 with Simon trying to grow longer sleeves when he relaised you were wearing the same watch as him - or at least a watch that looked the same

I'm still not sure he gave me the real one back. It's never held it's "charge" for more than a day since. :D

This is the reason I'm selling the Tag:

I'd wanted one for a while and when I was living in Switzerland I put my name down on the waiting list for one (2 years!!!!) The dealer called and said it had arrived just as I found out I was moving back the UK so decided it wasn't good time to be spending on a watch.
A few months ago my girlfriend offered to upgrade my old watch to one for my 30th birthday so now the proud owner of a Daytona.

Very nice Matt, always loved Daytona's, especially with a black face! Nicollow - that's an interesting choice, not many people go for the Explorer, will this be a second Rolex? I like them, different from the usual Submariner look (not that that's a bad look!).

Yeah, not a fan of fussy watches and the date magnifier on the usual Rolexi reminds me of this guy:

Ive got a Tag Kirium F1 at the moment, and am possibly on the lookout for a Tag Carrera, the metal strap one :P Not got any other Rolexi, as (dont shoot me!) think that the vast majority are a bit naff
