Well i decided some rear downforce was in order to make the car more settled at speed so I bought a big gay wing in carbon. I offered it up...and it looks...hmm. What do you think?

Will take a pic in a minute. It is pretty gay - but i couldnt in good conscience put a wibbly exige one on as a functional mod.

lol - No. The mounts would have to be swept back more, which in turn makes it look worse. I'd thought about making it releasable. Its worth saying the vx is fast becoming a track car - I dont drive it on the road much anymore.

For once, I agree with James. Looks wise it's not right, but if it performed some form of function than why not eh!

More aero under the car rather than over it :)

By what amount would you have to reduce the ground clearance to achieve good aero?

A good idea to make it releasable..............as you say.............then you can let it run away. Korkey.

i like it. But you would probably need a decent active front splitter to avoid upsetting the balance. and dont forget that you may need to increase your spring rates at the back to accomodate a potential 60 kg of downforce on the rear if it is for track use. And big? that isnt big. The elise parts/shop carbon wing is big!
