If you want to free up your power > 300 BHP you really need to increase that bore (in small steps) all the way from the I/C inlet BTW, but would require the TB to be machined as well as increasing the pipework and I/C inlet/exit size. According to my calcs, if your engine were making 300 BHP, then the air would need to travel down a 60mm pipe at around 270 KPH.... Imagine it trying to get round those 90 degree bends etc and you can see how it would strangle power. I have 76mm I/D pipework in my car and because of the nasty bends in it, the noise the air makes on its way to the inlet plenum is like a loud banshee wail which is louder than the exhuast (in the cabin), but is indicative of an inneficient flow :(

Can you buy 76mm throttle body? One side of my charge cooler is currently 60mm and the other side is 70mm. What is the pro alloy charge cooler spec? Mine is going to hopefully fit like MR Simbas. So through the intercooler and then charge cooler.

The OEM Z20LET throttle body can be rebored from 57mm to 62mm and have a larger butterfly flap put in. After that you get into a sticky situation. Apparently Bosche do make TBs that are larger and are compatable with the OEM loom plug. I don't know of anyone who has fitted one on a Z20LET though. I dunno what the standard PA CC inlet/outlets are any more - sorry.

Stock PA cc outlet is 60mm to tb - to compare the tfsi engine has 70mm pipework to the tb from cc and this size is oe My view is that for the power levels required a massive tb is not required to make those numbers and going big can effect the tb control also which you would notice driving. Only real way to prove it is some bk to bk data and testing :) Remember under pressure bends are not as bad as diameter changes - side entry inlet manifold will be interesting in testing. In reality though space restriction dictate what you can or cant do DG
