It depends which boost gauge you go for,I've got 1 with a vacuum pipe and that was fairly straightforward. This should tidy it up once fitted http://www.elise-sho...p269u9rjg31qs13

Drill and tap a hole for a suitable fitting into your inlet manifold (beward of dropping swarf into it!) or somewhere else that is suitable after the turbo. Run a vacuum pipe between this fitting and the boost guage wherever you mount it. Job's done :) PS: Make sure you use a strong walled vacuum pipe that wont collapse due to heat in the engine bay.

find a good mounting point in the cabin for the gauge, run the tube to the engine bay then connect here....with t-piece, end of the fuel rail.

Thats fine if you just want to see boost, however if you T-off the FPR, I think there is a 1-way valve prior to it that may stop you seeing vacuum (which is also important). I'm not 100% about this as my car is so non standard now that I can't be totally sure that remember what the OEM setup was like.
