I have an EGR blanking plate and an Astra type Ecotec plastic engine cover. Both free, just pay for the postage & packing (£2.50 for the plate and £6 for the cover) or collect.

Where can u get a EGR plate from, is it a kit or just a piece of metal. Will getting rid of the EGR cause EML? Cheeers.

You need an EGR cheater from Vocky.
Look at Z22SE.com
Blanking plate available from there also (as well as vauxhall dealer and eBay)

Are they ok to fit staright onto a standard engine? Will it throw up a error code and need a remap?

Ok done my research, seems an easy job. However z22se are out of stock. Does anyone have the cheater and blank plate for sale?
