Anyone driven both an able to offer a realstic comaprison between the two types for road use? I currently have NTR's which although 'acceptable' in my eyes for a road car (at a very low damper setting), arn't ideal (because they aren't design to be), so was wondering if its worth the hassle in switching to NSS, which obviously have a greater road bias in set-up and spring rates. Given the low mileage and condition of my NTR's, it would probably cost me relatively little to sell up and purchase some new NSS's, so its more of a performance decision than anything else. I'm contemplating mucking about with lower rate springs, but really there's no point go to the hassle and expense of have them revalved. Ross Ps. - I don't really do tracks..

I would say that the standard springs in the NSS are too soft for the vx... I have different springs on mine and the are still too soft in my opinion.

I would go with revalving them and lowering the spring rates. I think the NTR have a bigger body so have the ability to damp better

I would be interested in the outcome of this. I am running standard and would like to get a set purely for looks and for road use. How do they compare in comfort to standard ride?

Offer a swap if you're serious! I'm sure a number of NSS owners would love the chance to upgrade to NTR's! Sorry to hear you're not getting on with them, which model did you go for specifically...?

Both NSS and standard NTR have a 40mm body. The 46's are the ones with a bigger body.

I would stick with what you have and get them revalved and sprung. The NTR is a better unit than the NSS.
