Just got back from a dyno run on the dastek rolling road. Best run was 310bhp at 5,594rpm And best torque figure was 342.3 lbft at 3,900rpm Family and friends have used this rolling road for a good few years now and it always seems to be fairly accurate but Even taking these figures with a pinch of salt I'm still really pleased with the result :) A big thanks to Liam at MMG :) :)

Good result, stick the graph up. Seems like a very generous rolling road to me though with you 2.5 inch exhaust. No wonder your brothers s2000 makes so much power :P

My brothers s2000's figures was taken on Chris's rolling road at efi parts not on the dastek as it was Chris who mapped it,

Liam was getting just short of 300hp so there's not much difference between the 2 but the rr operater was very impressed with it :)

I've also got a before dyno plot so it's good to see the difference from the same rolling road

Nice result. That should be plenty for a few months before you get bored with it and want more ;) The beauty of stage 4 is that it should be pretty reliable with internals. I still remember stripping my old stage 4 engine apart and being amazed by how un-worn out the parts were.

I would have expected more like 15%, 27.6' seems like a high temperature to use for correction

Is the 5bhp drop off between run due to the IC heat soaking?

I'm no dyno technician :) but I would guess the second run is due to higher temps? I'm running a pro alloy chargecooler

Fuelling plot would have been the measureof the map. Great figure though Aimy. Well done.

Can certainly confirm chris rr is not the place to go to get great pub bhp figures :)

Good stuff, do you know if the smoothing software was added to that graph? Also reason for spike between 2.5 and 3k?

I'm not sure if it's been smoothed out or not tbh,I don't no with spike between 2.5 and 3k but it's not noticeable on the road

I've got a few little things planned but the main thing through winter is to get some nitrons, yeah I'm really pleased :)I took my car to this rolling road when it was at stage 2, it's good to see the difference from stg 2-4 from the same dyno

Is the mapping done at motorscope Aimy ?

Liam at Mmg did the mapping for me aswell as all the other bits

Dastek dyno..... Might aswell use the deflection of your tits as a better gauge of power.

As you will no all rolling roads very even if you knock 20hp of it im still happy with the result :)I've got my difference from stage 2-4 using the same rolling road so I'm pretty happy :) :)
