I have been sent this by someone who has done our charity track days with us. I dont think I can make it buit if anyone else is interested, could be a good day.
We (ie BMW Car Club) have a track day coming up at Silverstone on September 24th. It is the whole GP circuit , Open Pit Lane and very well organised in terms of safety, briefings, and keeping
the track clear of any idiots. It will be a fantastic day - there will also be free instruction available.
You don't have to have a BMW we have Ariel Atoms, Porsches the odd Ferrari etc and you and any of
your VX 220 mates (or anyone else who you know) would be more than
welcome to come.
People only have to be prepared to follow the rules and behave very
courteously to other drivers. It really will be a fantastic day.
There are 40 places left and I can't remember exactly what the price is
it's £275 for the whole day. If you would like to go please
contact Nick at Nick Wright [sykehouse@hotmail.com]

I've just looked up the noise regs, are these correct and which one would be operating? Presumably the latter as its the GP circuit that is open:
• National Circuit – 105dB on a static test and 102dB on a drive-by test.
• Grand Prix Circuit – will be in compliance with MSA championship regulations relevant to the vehicle being tested, maximum limit 108dB static test and 105dB on a drive by test, if in doubt please call.
