Project car Wanted.

I am posting from a production company which makes a popular motoring TV series. We are looking to buy cheap Vauxhall VX220 that we would fix up. We’re open to ideas and will consider a car that has been damaged but not completely, and not one which is cat D. We’d also consider a track car that is a little worn out. It’s preferable that the car vehicle can drive safely.

Can anyone Help?

If so please call me on 02077403000 or alternatively email me at Ollie@attaboytv.com

Thank You.

Hi Way- aye, Yes you would be correct. We are currently finding cars for series 10 and as you may have guessed we are quite keen to get a VX220. I'm sure you are familiar with the series and understand that we are after one which needs a bit of work doing to it. If anyone can help? Ollie 02077403000- ollie@attaboytv.com

You are not going to get much for £3000 grand Even a front and rear smashed vx will go for more than £3000

That is a shame, What sort of money are we looking at for a slightly old or damaged 220? As you know were not afraid of hard work. We are also interested in any unfinished projects. Ollie 02077403000- ollie@attaboytv.com

Depending on damage £4k to £4.5, Dont think I've seen one go for under £4k

Aye Bob's is a D but it's not a disaster on these its quite common as the price of clams is so high. There is nothing at 3k. Even to get a tatty non cat car you'll be looking to almost double your budget. Look forward to watching the show when it comes round though. Tell mike to stop sitting on the bloody cars though! drives me nuts

Thanks for all the help guys, Has definitely given me some food for thought. Does anyone have any links to project or damaged VX220's in general so I can see how much they go for. WE maybe able to spend a bit above our budget. Thanks for all the help. Ollie 02077403000- ollie@attaboytv.com

Just to confirm would you look at CAT C's? Or is ANY CAT damage car out of the list? If so, I can only echo above. Just take a look at all the past for sale threads on here / ebay / pistonheads. Good luck none the less and I look forward to watching :)

Hi guys, We would look at Cat C cars but not Cat D, Turbocluca we don't mind either Naturally Aspirated or Turbo Cars, drop me a line with some details, pictures and prices as we could well be interested. All the Best, Ollie. Ollie@attaboytv.com- 02077403000

I for one would like to see Mr China tighten up the steering UJ! Lol :) I'd love to see a VX on the show but the purchase price alone, never mind the parts spend would start getting a bit silly. Your best chance would be picking a 2.2 with a goosed engine that the desperate owner just wants rid of the car. Best of luck! Edit : Why would you look at a cat C car rather than a cat D?
