Anyone been here? I've got the opportunity to attend one of their driving school days next year and thought I might give it a go.

I've been to watch a number of times and been up the hill 4 or 5 times. It's good fun and an interesting course though not very long. If you want to check it out, there is a big show on over the weekend of the 6th and 7th of October. If you are a member there you get to go to the summer BBQ and take any car up un-timed or attend an autumn meet when you can also take your car up. Not sure if you've seen the top gear episode there, but some of the older guys really know how to set up a car to get the maximum from it, I always enjoy having a chat with them.

Cool thanks. I've had a look at the schedule for the course and it seems quite short but having been to watch there a couple of years back I've always fancied having a go.

Let me know when you are there, I work nearby, although I'd need to watch out as my boss lives just around the corner from the hill climb :D

The course is 8th May next year so a few days to wait yet. It'll probably be raining anyway so you can hind under an umbrella (I have to take one with me apparently....) from the boss :)

Didi the school years ago in an old TVR when I was just starting in motorsport, with video feedback and lots of runs up the hill. Very enjoyable and gives you a lot to think about, which you can apply to driving smoothly on the road as well as quickly on track.

So, May is finally almost here and I'm off to Prescott next week. Anyone got any good pointers? Keeping my fingers crossed for some sun :)

Well the rain held off until about three minutes after we'd finished for the day. Couldn't have arranged it better :)

When I arrived there was an Ultima, GT3 and a Noble lined up so figured I was pretty seriously out-gunned but an MG Midget, original Mini Clubman and a Riley Sprite leveled the field a little bit :) There was a whole spread of ages, both of drivers and cars and a great social side to the day. I can thoroughly recommend it if anyone gets the chance to go :)

Not fast but still had fun. http://flic.kr/p/ehXfks
