getting terribly close to monday when I am supposed to have the car at cms I am in trouble here, it is in bits no manifold s/c loom ect does :( anyone remember if the water temp sensor on the z20let is different from the z22se, looking at the plugs connectors here I am trying to sort the loom out.

really? must have modded my z20 loom to fit a z22se water sensor then

I will know first thing tomorrow, cheers for the offer Imnotworthy I will need a new water sensor for certain, I NEED to dry fit this manifold and s/c to see if the belt is long enough may also need to spce the alt out as well also think I have the wrong map sensor plug for the map by injector one.

can bring a water sensor to lees on saturday? i think i have a 1280pk6 that is my spare belt not sure why you would space the alternator out though

I'm in meetings pretty much all of tomorrow but can probably give you a hand on Friday, if you're not done by then. Can always grab a sensor or two from my car, if needed. thumbsup

That would be great Joe, for a backup if you don't mind

The alt may need spacing because of the phenolic spacer not certain if I have enough clearance from the manifold and the live wire.

Also a a backup for sensors would be great, will know better tomorrow night, thanks guys org comes through again :grouphug:

anyone got a spare map sensor for z22se s/c setup? mine wrong for this loom

that's great, thanks, tomorrow I should know how I stand Good news I found a plug with 4 wires still connected (think it was an old lambda plug) , which fits the sensor installed by cms, bad news 4 pins and only 3 wires on the loom

you only need three wires for the 1.7 cdti map sensor

don't forget to seal the sensor in place without blocking the sensor itself, they are a terrible fit :huh:

z20let and LSJ use the same sensor, we swapped your coolant sensor to fit the zlet loom :P

I have a couple of MAP sensors - part number 16235939 - you are welcome to one, they aren't Bosch parts but they are OEM Vauxhall
