I haven't been able to work on these or at my actual job for about more than a month now since developing uveitis in both eyes. My vision is now recovering and I'm going to be making a start on the less detailed parts of these (rear cover moulding, wiring). Sorry for the further delay - this was a bit of a shock to experience but should fully recover and be able to meet these committments

Vision is now back and I've got semi regular appointments with a specialist, however the recovery has given me pretty brutal headaches which has slowed my ability to work (on anything). I've spent the holiday trying to relax and recover, as well as making some lifestyle changes (at the moment we think this is linked to psoriasis) and this has helped a lot. I'll be dedicating a couple of hours most nights to get these completed and sent out, providing I can do this in a healthy and sustainable way.

I've finally got enough vision to do detail work - this is cutting along a slight depression on the headlight blanks. I'm doing it as a batch - these are the four I've done today. From this https://i.imgur.com/2PmzlRT.jpeg

By next weekend I expect to have the corresponding side cut out, edges cleaned up and ready for the mounting point to be bonded on. 

 

Everything will be made in batch from now on as - I'll provide photos along the way

Im being lazy and not read the entire 69 pages.....but.......what lights will you use in them? And are they better than the candles that vauxhall made?
