As five o'clock always tells me to post more.... here is a little fun video of some skids I did at the end of a fantastic tracks day "@ Brands Hatch on Monday Firthy JG - if your reading apologies once again for having to stair at my green dash plates - I do realise they are quite offensive to you :)

The 2 Exige drivers are both friends...... and v handy, we are all a very similar pace when I am driving straight..... and not through the side window so its a hell of a lot of fun racing round an empty Brands together.... when i can be bother i will post a couple of our better laps :D

Theres driving fast, then theres driving fun. I try to do the latter. If you do it well the former happens anyway ;) As JB said, looks like a nicely balanced wee ride. What are the specs?

Set-up wise I don't know the details you would have to ask Steph at Back On Track who set the car up.... I do like it quite pointy though so it does have a fair bit of camber in the front which I love as it doesn't understeer at all..... The turn in is insane...... Other than that NTR Fast Roads and Toyo R888's Hahaha yes nicollow nothing like a bit of skidding!!

Stock geo on 17s does that kind of thing on a wet track. Wet trackdays are the best :D

I got halfway round a corner at Blyton when it had just started raining that was a good test of the balance!

Fantastic! You are both a braver and better driver than me. I hope one day I will learn the confidence and skill to drive like that in the wet. Just loved watching the steering wheel upside down.

Wish I could do that on demand. Did it a couple of weeks ago following my mates katana'd exige. Out of wet roundabout, saw the back of his step out about a foot and then I did the same. We both kept the foot in but for me that was about the limit. Wouldn't have trusted my skill (lack of) to be any more lairy. Before anyone says 'carlimits' - been there, done that, a few times (in previous Elises). Would like to do a day purely on how to arse around without spinning.

Drifting a Caterham at will and for as long as you want is easy though. I wouldn't trust myself to hold a drift in the VX for more than a 2 seconds without overcooking it and ending up facing the wrong way.

I take it you were looking to have a wild ride and not just that you well off the wet line? Nice balancing of the throttle and steering although some of them are a little extreme
