I take it that I have a 100A alternator then!??!? It has a 100 on it at least :P

Im presuming I need to grind down the post circled in order to avoid the inlet manifold? Also, what is the chat about fitting a suppressor? Doesnt it have one already? Any info much apreciated. Cheers

Yep and you lose that plastic cover.

Not really. 100a aftermarkets sold via ebay were same size as the pesky 120.
Best to get a used astra/vectra/vx220 100a and refurb if needed.

Mod the 100A cover like this for the SC manifold and you can keep the build-in surpressor:

Basicly any astrah/vectrab/vx220 alternator with the 100 clearly visible on it should work.

I have a part number at home for the same alternator i just bought from autovaux. £130 delivered and perfect fit.
